Wal-Mart is known for forcing its suppliers to lower prices so that it can sell more items, cheaper. Who would have thought that the retail giant had enough clout to lower gas prices across the nation.
Wal-Mart is lowering gas prices by 10 cents per gallon at all Murphy gas stations. The rollback will last from June 29 through September 30. Granted, you have to use a reloadable Wal-Mart credit card, gift card, or MoneyCard to get the deal, but none of those requires an additional purchase to acquire.
Murphy has about 1,000 locations in several states. Below is a list of the states where you can find the discount.
